Smoky River, Alberta
Cut From the Land That Hardened Us
My story is why I am here. I grew up on a ranch between Grande Prairie and Peace River, Alberta, and spent my formative years (until 30) between those two towns, ranching, farming, working in the oilfield for a camp catering company, and getting into all the mischief I could. Now, I want to tell my story, and that of the small French Canadian community, and as such, I'm starting Documentary Filmmaking in North Vancouver in Sept 2026. I'm hoping to fund some of that with the clothing designs I've created.
Marty Clothing Co. strives to exceed the rating of 'half-assed' to bring you “something that'll hook on barbed wire, and yeah, it might tear, but you'll still wear it for another 15 years before it falls apart, 'cause it's your favourite hoodie” kind of quality.
Currently, I live with my family in New Westminster, BC. But my heart and soul are with the land that forged me into who I am today. So, buy my shit, eh? 😁
